In Chile the birth rate has decreased in recent years. 24.2% of women have not had children.
One of the main reasons that women delay motherhood is because there is a greater desire to develop professionally and achieve independence.
The Chilean government has a project that seeks to encourage families to increase the birth rate. The measures address various aspects related to the needs of children and their families.
"We are going to help with savings when the child is born," said Sebastian Piñera adding that with the current birth rate "the population does not even reproduce, it is falling, and that is an issue that worries me a lot."
The level of birth is very important for any country.
Hopefully in the next few years the birth rate will increase.
Types of family
